How much do your cakes cost?
Prices vary depending on size, detail and intricacy of your design.  Contact us to place a custom order.
Your cakes LOOK good, but do they taste good too?
Our cakes are made using only high quality ingredients including real butter, milk, flour, sugar, eggs and fresh fruit. Our product is never frozen! So, yes... They do taste as good as they look!
Do you sell sheet cakes, ready-made cakes or simple cakes?
Sheet cakes are only offered as an order.  But we do carry 6" ready-made cakes in the showcase, made fresh daily.
Do you make gluten-free or dietary cakes?
No. Unfortunately our bakery is not big enough to have a separate air-tight space to offer TRUE gluten free products. Because flour is airborne, it is not a gluten free facility, but we do offer a gluten-sensitive option, to order.

DELIVERY
Do you deliver?
Unfortunately, we are a small business and are not able to deliver, except for weddings, at this time.
Do you ship your cakes?
No. We do not ship any of our products.

TASTING AND ORDERS
I'm getting married, do you offer cake tastings?
We charge a non-refundable $30 fee per couple for tastings, paid for at the time of booking the tasting. We recommend that you bring in any pictures, invitations, wedding colors, etc., that may help us come up with the perfect design for your special day.!

How can I order a cake, cupcakes or cookies?
You can stop by our bakery, call us, or send an email. We recommend if you send an email, you send us over ALL of the details of your event on our Contact page (name, phone number, date, time, theme, colors, flavors, amount of servings needed, and any questions you may have). We will review your email and get back to you as soon as we can. For faster service, you can stop by the bakery or call us at 860-484-4838. However, please remember, we are closed on Sundays and  Mondays, so allow for some extra leeway time.
Do you have a retail store where I can walk in and purchase cupcakes or view your work?
YES! We are open Tuesday thru Friday from 10am-6pm, Saturday 9am-3pm. We are CLOSED on Sunday and Monday.
How early should I place my order?
A cake order should be placed as soon as you have finalized all the details of your event (flavors, colors, theme &/or design, amount of servings, etc.). If the order has standing fondant work, it will need extra time to harden to stand, so we need at least 1-2 weeks for those orders. Otherwise, we need at least 48 hours during the week and by Wednesday night for a weekend order.


Donations Request Policy
We are happy to be a SWEET part of the community! Due to the overwhelming amount of donation requests we receive on a daily
basis, we ask that all requests be submitted via email to Kamela@cutiepiesct.com. Please include a letter explaining what charity you represent, what the donation will be used for, and your non-profit tax ID number. Please understand that we are unable to fulfill ALL requests, but we do the best that we can. Thank you for your understanding!

DEPOSITS, BOOKING AND  CANCELLATIONS

Is a deposit required when placing an order?
We require a 50% deposit or full payment.
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards and cash only.
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
We look at this on a case-to-case basis.  Each order is different and it depends on what type of order is being cancelled (cake, cupcakes, wedding, custom cakes/cupcakes/cookies, etc.). For regular cake orders if you cancel within 48 hours of pick-up you will be charged the full amount whether you pick up or not.

For custom orders if you cancel within one week prior to the event date, you will be charged for your order.
